Synopsis: Science fiction. Refugee aliens living in slum conditions on Earth in an enclosed area in South Africa known as District 9, begin to fight back. When his DNA mutates after a strange virus, Wikus van de Merwe finds himself being hunted down as this change means he can access the superior technology of alien weaponry. The only place he can hide out is District 9.
